General

General Questions

Do you offer free estimates?
Yes! We provide a completely free, no-obligation estimate. We'll tour your grounds, learn your priorities, and put together a service plan and transparent pricing. There's never any pressure to commit.
Are you insured?
Yes. Golden Lawn Care is a registered Florida LLC and carries business liability insurance to protect your property. We provide a certificate of insurance (COI) on request before work begins — the document HOA boards and management companies need on file. Note that lawn and grounds maintenance requires no Florida state contractor license, so anyone advertising one for this work is describing something else.
What areas do you serve?
We serve Eustis, Mount Dora, Tavares, Leesburg, Umatilla, Sorrento, Grand Island, Mount Plymouth, Fruitland Park, Howey-in-the-Hills, Astatula, Zellwood, and Apopka. Commercial grounds contracts are the specialty; residential properties in those cities are welcome too. If your property sits just outside the list, call and we will tell you straight away whether we cover it.
Do you only work with commercial properties?
No. Commercial grounds contracts are our specialty — HOAs, property managers, office parks, retail centers, churches, and multi-family communities — and they set our recurring weekly schedule. Residential properties are quoted too: call us, we'll measure the property and give you a price.

Grounds

Grounds Maintenance

What services are included in a grounds maintenance contract?
Our contracts can bundle commercial lawn mowing, edging and string trimming, landscape bed maintenance, shrub and hedge trimming, tree and palm trimming, mulch installation, and leaf and debris removal. We tailor the scope to your property so everything is handled by one crew.
How often will you service my property?
Most commercial accounts are on a dependable recurring weekly schedule during the growing season, with adjustments as needed through the year. We'll recommend a cadence during your estimate that keeps your grounds consistently sharp.
Do I get one crew and one invoice?
Yes. One crew handles every service on your property, and you receive a single, simple invoice. No coordinating multiple landscaping vendors and no chasing separate bills.
Can you handle multiple properties or a portfolio?
Absolutely. We work with property managers and HOAs managing several communities or buildings. We can set up consistent service across your portfolio with clear, predictable billing.
How is pricing determined?
Pricing depends on your property size, the services in scope, and how often you need service. After a free estimate, we provide a clear written quote so you know exactly what's included.

Storm

Storm & Hurricane Cleanup

Do you handle storm and hurricane cleanup?
Yes. After a storm, we clear downed limbs, branches, and debris from your grounds and haul it away so your property looks presentable again quickly. It's one of the most-requested services from our commercial clients in Lake County.
How quickly can you respond after a storm?
We prioritize cleanup for our recurring contract clients and schedule new requests as quickly as the crew can take them. Get in touch right after the weather clears and we'll get your property on the cleanup schedule.
Do you clean up palm fronds and tree debris?
Yes. Florida storms bring down a lot of palm fronds and tree debris. We collect and remove it, and can pair cleanup with palm tree trimming or tree pruning to reduce future drop.
Can storm cleanup be added to my maintenance contract?
It can. Many clients fold storm and hurricane cleanup into their grounds maintenance agreement so there's a plan already in place when severe weather hits — handled by the same crew, on one invoice.

Service

Service & Quality

What makes Golden Lawn Care different?
We're locally owned, commercial-focused, and built around dependable recurring schedules. One crew handles your whole property and you get one invoice — which means consistent results and far less to manage on your end.
Do you bring your own equipment?
Yes. The crew arrives fully equipped for mowing, edging, trimming, bed maintenance, mulch installation, and cleanup, so your scheduled service is completed in a single visit.
What if I'm not happy with a visit?
Just let us know. We stand behind our work and want your grounds looking their best every week. We'll come back and make it right.

Billing

Billing & Scheduling

How does billing work?
Recurring grounds maintenance is typically billed on a simple monthly invoice that covers all the services in your scope — one crew, one bill. We accept cash, checks, and major credit cards.
Are there long-term contracts?
We offer recurring service agreements so your schedule and pricing stay predictable, but we keep terms straightforward. We'll walk through the agreement with you before anything is signed.
Do you require payment upfront?
For recurring maintenance, you're billed for service as it's performed — usually monthly. For one-time projects like mulch installation or storm cleanup, we'll explain terms clearly before any work begins.

Process

Process & Scheduling

How quickly can you start service?
After your free estimate and a signed agreement, we can usually add you to our route within about 1-2 weeks. We'll confirm your start date and recurring service day up front.
Do I need to be on-site during service?
No. Once we know your property and access points, our crew handles your scheduled service without you needing to be present. We'll coordinate gate codes or access details ahead of time.
What happens during a typical service visit?
Depending on your scope, we mow, edge and string trim, maintain landscape beds, trim shrubs and hedges as needed, and clean up all clippings and debris before we leave — so the property looks crisp and presentable.
How do you keep the property clean?
We blow down walkways, parking areas, and entrances, bag or haul clippings and debris, and leave the site tidy after every visit. A clean, finished look is part of every scheduled service.
