Sprinkler & Irrigation Repair
Sprinkler repair and irrigation installation: broken heads and nozzles, stuck valves, dead zones, controllers and timers, plus new zones and new systems for lawns and beds.
Expert Sprinkler & Irrigation Repair Services in Lake County
A sprinkler system fails quietly. A head gets clipped and sprays the driveway, a valve sticks open, a zone stops coming on, or the controller loses its schedule after a power outage. The lawn shows it a week later as a brown strip or a soggy corner. Golden Lawn Care finds the fault and fixes it.
Because we mow and maintain lawns, we see irrigation problems from the turf side: the dry arc a tilted head leaves, the bed that stays wet because a zone runs too long. We repair existing systems, add zones for new beds and sod, and install new systems.

Why Small Sprinkler Problems Show Up in the Lawn
A broken head can put water on the pavement every cycle until someone notices, while the turf it was meant to cover dries out. Uneven coverage is behind a lot of lawn trouble that looks like something else: brown arcs, yellow strips along the driveway, and soggy spots where fungus starts.
Lawn irrigation in this region is limited to designated watering days and times, set by address. With a limited number of cycles, each one has to count. A system that puts water down evenly can keep a lawn healthy inside those limits. One with broken heads and mismatched nozzles cannot.
Sprinkler Repairs We Handle
Most repairs fall into one of four groups.
Heads & nozzles
Broken, clogged, tilted or sunken heads, and nozzles that don't match the rest of the zone.
Valves
Valves stuck open, valves that won't open, leaks at the valve box.
Zones & lines
Zones that won't come on, broken lines, and leaks that leave soggy spots.
Controllers & timers
Lost schedules, run times, rain sensors and controller replacement.

Irrigation Installation: New Zones & New Systems
When a yard changes, the irrigation has to change with it. New systems connect downstream of the backflow preventer. Installing or testing a backflow preventer, and any connection to the drinking-water supply, is work for a licensed plumber or certified backflow tester, not us.
How a Sprinkler Repair Visit Works
We work zone by zone, so nothing gets missed.
Run every zone
Each zone is run while we watch the heads and the controller.
Find the fault
Broken heads, stuck valves, leaks and programming problems get noted by zone.
Quote the repair

Fix & re-test
Repairs made, then the zone is run again to confirm coverage.

Common Questions
Some do and some don't. We do: heads, nozzles, valves, zones, controllers and timers, and we install new zones and systems. We don't install or test backflow preventers or connect to the drinking-water supply. That work belongs to a licensed plumber or certified backflow tester.
It depends on what is broken. A clogged nozzle and a failed valve are very different jobs. We run each zone, find the fault, and give you the price before we fix it.
Yes. We set the controller to the watering days and times allowed for your address and adjust run times zone by zone. Allowed days depend on your address and change with the season, so the schedule should be checked when the clocks change.
Yes. We add zones and re-head existing ones when beds, sod or hardscape change the yard.
Yes. We repair and adjust irrigation on HOA common areas and commercial grounds as well as homes.
